There are no DEI-driven casting choices—puppets feature exaggerated, stereotypical designs voiced primarily by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with no race-swapping, gender fluidity, or identity politics shoehorned in. Themes center on absurd action parody and anti-PC humor, exemplified by songs like 'Everyone Has AIDS' ridiculing celebrity activism, rather than promoting social justice, systemic oppression, or critiques of traditional norms.

Creators Parker and Stone explicitly aimed to provoke all sides, outraging liberal celebrities like Sean Penn while conservatives preemptively criticized its anti-war jabs, confirming its apolitical-to-anti-woke intent. Reception celebrates it as timeless anti-establishment satire, with modern discussions positioning it against contemporary wokeness, free of any audience backlash over progressive intrusions.
