This is a tough one. Woody and Buzz take a backseat and Jessie is the leader and “alpha”. We even see her marry Buzz (he wears a dress of some sort) while Jessie wears a tie. Not a fan of that.
(SPOILER)!!! Buzz is weak. And he use to be, bad ass compare to 1,2,3 and the 5 buzz is in the background, and is the bride when he gets married.
Another franchise ruined by woke agenda. Jessie is now the central character becouse why not, she is strong female afterall, Buzz and Woody are still in movie but barely, they are irrelevant and totally put aside, They simple got "Disneyed" like Luke Skywalker in Last Jedi. Jessie is now the leader of all the toys. She orders everyone around, including Buzz, who is also a total simp for her. There are also a lot of moments where the two of them are portrayed as weak and submissive. (Small spoiler alert: for example, when Buzz and Jessie finally kiss, she lifts her leg in the air; when they get married, Buzz is the one who walks down the aisle toward her while she waits for him; during the wedding she hold him in her arms rather than the other way around; and there’s a scene where Woody gets into a vehicle and Bo Peep tells him, “Move over, I’m driving!” etc.). Woody is portrayed as a bald, overweight old man and is never taken seriously.
Most of the movie seems based. However, Buzz is clearly the submissive character to his love interest, Jessica -- particularly notable in the end scene where they get married. He gets a ring and flowers, etc. Might as well have been wearing a dress.
