The season's episodes, such as Thunder Gun 4: Maximum Cool (which lampoons political correctness in Hollywood reboots and focus-grouped diversity) and A Woman's Right to Chop (satirizing trendy hair trends and related gender norms through the gang's absurd schemes), exemplify the show's refusal to moralize or center identity politics. Mac's established homosexuality remains a vehicle for character flaws and gags rather than affirmation or exploration of systemic issues.

Casting stays consistent with the original ensemble, featuring no race- or gender-swapping of established characters or DEI-driven additions. Creator intent and audience reception emphasize the show's resistance to cancel culture and its equal-opportunity offense, with no evidence of activist messaging, lectures, or narratives revolving around oppression, patriarchy, or identity as central conflicts. Any thematic overlap with modern topics arises organically from the gang's depravity and serves traditional comedic subversion, not ideological promotion.
