The diverse supporting cast feels organic for a modern college setting, with no race- or gender-swapping of established characters or forced DEI quotas evident. Themes touch lightly on college power imbalances like overzealous RAs and haves-vs-have-nots dynamics, but these are incidental gags in a hyper-fictional narrative, not modern social justice lectures or central conflicts.

No prominent LGBTQ+ representation, identity exploration, or critiques of traditional norms drive the story; it's pure irreverent entertainment focused on laughs and tropes like stoner self-discovery. Creators BriTANicK show no activist intent in interviews, and reception is overwhelmingly positive as a hilarious guilty pleasure, free from 'go woke go broke' backlash or political controversy. This refreshing avoidance of ideological preaching preserves its broad comedic appeal.
