The narrative centers on the possessed doll Chucky resuming his killing spree against teen Andy Barclay at a military academy, following classic slasher conventions of suspense, pursuit, and revenge without introducing themes of identity politics or contemporary social issues. The premise stays tightly focused on the franchise's established supernatural horror elements, avoiding any framing that prioritizes messaging over entertainment. Produced in 1991, the film contains no DEI or activist elements, presenting a faithful continuation of the original characters and premise without modern reinterpretation.

Casting adheres strictly to the series' prior continuity, with supporting roles such as Andy's classmates serving only narrative functions in the revenge plot. This pre-activist production approach keeps the emphasis on straightforward horror thrills rather than any progressive agenda.
