Episodes like 'Chef Goes Nanners' mock debates over racist imagery on the town flag, with Chef's protest satirized alongside Wendy's liberal outrage turning absurdly romantic toward Cartman's Nazi history trivia. 'Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000' ridicules overzealous hate crime enforcement by the FBI treating a playground accident as racially motivated. Timmy's introduction in 'Timmy 2000' features a disabled character primarily for crude humor and to lampoon Ritalin overprescription, sparking backlash for offensiveness rather than praise for representation.

Other plots delve into religion ('Do the Handicapped Go to Hell?'), false molestation accusations ('The Wacky Molestation Adventure'), pedophiles ('Cartman Joins NAMBLA'), and Garrison's homosexuality arc without any normalization, identity exploration, or critiques of traditional norms as central drivers. Casting relies on creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone voicing most characters, with no forced diversity, race/gender-swapping, or DEI mandates.

No creator statements emphasize activism, and reception highlights the season's edgy entertainment value free from social justice preaching. This pure comedic focus without woke intrusions makes it a standout for uncompromised fun.
