Definitely has elements of wokeness, such as girlbossing, but they don't take away from the main story. The wokest part is when Morticia hints at her being the boss of the family, and pretending to be subservient to Gomez. If the show is woke, it is disguised very well. If you read far into it, the 'outcasts' could be likened to those of LGBT, but this is never explicitly said nor hinted at. They are always referred to as 'outcasts'. Its worth noting that Wednesday was the Addams Family's smart child, so the series wouldnt work without her, and thus, multiple female leads (Wednesday and Enid) might make it seem like a bit of a girlboss.
Mentions the patriarchy and has girlboss themes in the first few episodes already. Couldn't get through it.
The series wouldnt work without Wednesday herself, so multiple female leads is inevitable. I recommend you try to watch the whole thing, especially Season 2 as it tackles loneliness in a very neutral way.
