Although I enjoy the non-serialized episodic storytelling and their narrative diversity because it is set in the Star Trek universe, the woke agenda is strongly present. Almost all the storylines are about the girl-boss women in Star Trek and or female themes, and involve demeaning, vilifying, and feminizing all the males. Also, weird anachronisms are present. There are many scenes where Captain Pike is washing dishes by hand. I mean, I guess this would be fine in the present day, though I hardly believe in the far future people don't have dishwashers, and especially the captain on a starship. Also, although he is the captain of the Enterprise, Pike is mostly a side character, because he is a white and straight male. I am not against balanced storylines between men and women, and an equal portrayal of their themes, but this show should really be called Femme Trek: Strange New Worlds.
