There are no race-swaps, gender-swaps, LGBTQ+ representation, identity politics, critiques of traditional norms, or social justice messaging driving the narrative; the story remains purely entertainment-oriented with brutal action and earned strength. Casting uses standard Japanese voice actors faithful to the source material's Asian characters, with no forced diversity or DEI complaints.

Creator interviews highlight production challenges and adaptation fidelity, not activism. Audience reception is overwhelmingly positive as a top-tier shonen hit, with controversies limited to censorship of original Korean nationalist elements for Japanese audiences—a commercial choice, not ideological injection—and no 'woke' backlash. This purity from political messaging makes it a refreshing example of traditional storytelling that prioritizes thrilling entertainment over contemporary activism.
