Detailed Analysis
Psi Cops is an absurd comedy series that parodies The X-Files through the misadventures of two incompetent paranormal detectives, Kydd and Felixx, who operate out of a shady agency and tackle lowbrow supernatural cases across episodic plots filled with gags like alien mix-ups, Bloody Mary summons, and paperwork amid chaos.
The show relies exclusively on original characters voiced by traditional actors in a classic buddy-cop structure, with no foregrounding of identity traits, race or gender swaps, or thematic focus on systemic issues. Creator intent centers strictly on silly satire and standalone entertainment, producing zero overlap with progressive messaging, DEI elements, or identity politics in the reviewed season. This results in an overall woke score of 0/10 for the show's content profile so far.
Methodology: Each score synthesizes audience discourse, critic and aggregator reception, and press coverage — weighed against the work itself, not any single source.
