Casting includes minor ethnic diversity, such as Amber Rose Revah as the tough DHS agent Dinah Madani, but this feels organic to a contemporary setting and does not alter character arcs, premise, or drive the plot. There are no race or gender swaps from source material, no prominent LGBTQ+ representation, no lectures on systemic oppression, identity politics, or critiques of traditional norms.

Subplots like Lewis Wilson's PTSD descent highlight systemic neglect of veterans without layering intersectional elements. Creator Steve Lightfoot focused on violence and character depth, with no stated activist intent.

Reception was overwhelmingly positive for its unapologetic action and pro-military undertones, with virtually no audience backlash over progressive elements—only isolated complaints from anti-SJW circles about a single early dialogue scene. This season stands out for its pure entertainment value, free from ideological intrusions that plague modern media.
