The cast features a mix of ethnicities and genders, including leads like white female agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym), Black/Muslim agent OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), and Black female agent Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane), but this diversity appears organic and reflective of a modern FBI team without any race- or gender-swapping from source material or forced inclusions clashing with the narrative. Plot summaries and episode overviews show standard terrorism, murder, and gang cases without lectures on systemic racism, identity politics, or social justice activism.

Creator Dick Wolf explicitly avoided political stories to keep the show entertaining and neutral. No creator interviews emphasize activism or inclusion mandates for this season.

Audience reception on Reddit and elsewhere criticizes writing quality or pacing but praises the escapist action, with zero notable backlash labeling it 'woke' or citing DEI intrusions. High viewership (top 4 in season) confirms its success as pure entertainment unburdened by ideological messaging.
