The storytelling revolves around classic farce and undercover antics, with no DEI mandates, identity politics, systemic oppression narratives, or critiques of traditional norms driving the premise or character arcs. Casting features black leads (Wayans brothers) in a reverse race-swap for satirical effect, mocking white privilege alongside self-deprecating black humor, far from forced diversity or activist representation.

Creators like Marlon Wayans explicitly defend the film against cancel culture and political correctness in interviews, emphasizing equal-opportunity ridicule of all groups for entertainment, not messaging. Reception celebrates it as a cult classic immune to modern wokeness, with audiences lamenting that such unapologetic comedy couldn't be made today due to PC constraints, confirming its neutrality and entertainment-first purity.
