Santiago Segura directs and stars, building the comedy around Torrente's run for Spanish president with the populist Nox party and letting his unfiltered clashes with modern society generate the humor. The film delivers explicit satirical jabs at LGBT issues, immigration, identity politics, and woke concepts without softening or reframing them. Creator intent stays firmly on anti-PC entertainment.

The satire mocks politicians across the spectrum, including Vox-style right populism, PSOE left, Sumar/Podemos, and progressive correctness, while avoiding any DEI casting mandates or identity-based themes. No progressive messaging appears in the premise, characters, or execution, allowing the crude, equal-opportunity mockery to stand alone as the film's sole focus.
