Cyberpunk 2077 scores 7/10 on wokeness by baking fluid gender options and same-sex romances into its core character creation and story systems. Avoid it if you want to skip the progressive identity mechanics.
Cyberpunk 2077 embeds progressive ideological elements most prominently through its character creation and romance systems.
Players select body type (masculine or feminine) and voice tone independently rather than a binary gender option, with genitals (penis variants with size slider, vagina, or none) and pubic hair as fully separate choices; this mix-and-match design, paired with developer statements that it enables players to "feel free to create any character you want" and treats gender modification as "relatively minor" compared to personal style, normalizes non-binary and fluid identities as core mechanics. Romances are gated by these choices: Judy requires feminine body and voice (lesbian), Kerry requires masculine body and voice (gay), while Panam and River follow heterosexual preferences, making same-sex relationships a deliberate, prominent feature rather than incidental.
Methodology: Each score synthesizes audience discourse, critic and aggregator reception, and press coverage — weighed against the work itself, not any single source.

Some gay characters, but honestly there is nothing that takes you out of the game.
Has a lgbt character with a rainbow flag sticker on said character's car.
A bit of lesbian stuff, but no pronoun or sexual confusion crap. The game is overtly sexual at times, but not in a woke way. Not sure why some think it is woke. Honestly, the closest thing to woke IMHO is the "evil greedy corporation" political trope that gets overplayed in a lot of games.
In the racing side quests Claire Russels car (the beast) has a trans flag painted on the back of it.
Not only is the game's character creator woke, but numerous elements around the world itself promote gender fluidity, sexual degeneracy and gayness. Some ads promote female domination. One ad shows several white-skinned female hands sexually clawing at a black man. An email promoting sexual services explicitly includes "agender and fluid" as options. And that's not to mention the multiple trans characters (trans flag on the back of a truck included), references to gay/lesbian relationships, gay prostitutes, and many dialogues where the game treats the player as bi/pansexual. Genuinely one of the wokest games I've ever played. Thankfully I played it for free.
